We are regulars here having stayed every year for ages as self catering guests in Lucy's at The Grange. Why would we keep coming back if it wasn't perfect for our needs and of course our two black Labradors?
A thing of rare beauty. Superb location. Comfortable bedrooms great shower facilities. Lorna and Keith are excellent hosts. But the food. Wow. The best food I've eaten in years. Dont hesitate if you want a quiet weekend away there are none better than this hidden gem. Seek it out you wont regret it.
Stayed in the bungalow with its own private patio and lawn. The building is extremely well equipped, the furniture is modern and comfortable. The decor creates a clean and airy feel. The kitchen is well equipped and the views and walks from the doorstep are gorgeous. The hosts are lovely and welcoming. I am already looking to book for 2023.
Had a great week here,Loweswater is a stunningly beautiful place and very quiet. The WiFi is poor due to the location but we just pretended it was 1995 and forgot about our mobiles and just enjoyed the Lake District.
Lorna and Keith are lovely people. Grange is in a stunning location within walking distance of Loweswater. Very highly recommended.
Enjoyed a great walk ending at the Grange Hotel. Evening meal was amazing. The views from our room over Loweswater was the best I've ever seen. The walks around the area were fantastic. The whole experience was only bettered by our hosts, who were very warm and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.
Lovely cottage, everything you could want or need in a home. Lorna and Keith make You welcome and are very helpful. It's a perfect base for touring the Solway coast, North Lake District and Cumbria. Very comfy bed with warm eider down. We and our two greyhounds Jack and Betsy had a great time stunning views of Loweswater
